Work Experience: In addition to his ministerial responsibilities, Pastor Lambert works for the Michigan Department of State serving as the manager of the Technical Integration Section for the Bureau of Branch Office Services.

Philosophy of Ministry:  "I believe the primary focus of the pastor is the feeding and tending to the 'flock of God.'  The local church exits for the purpose of teaching the Word of God, and the edifying fellowship of believers with the purpose to prepare each of us for the responsibilities God will grace us with daily.  As a pastor, much of my focus must be given to "rightly dividing the Word of Truth" and to prayer.  The Scripture must be seen as not only our theological authority, but as our practical living authority as well.  I believe this is best accomplished through expositional teaching/preaching, Biblical counseling, and ongoing fellowship with those God has allowed me to serve.  The pastor/teacher is not the "boss" of the congregation and must not "lord it over the flock," but is to always see himself as the slave of God, not seeking his own personal agenda, but daily poised to be at the disposal of his Lord.  Pastors serve the Lord only, and in so doing, serve His people."
